Geelong Receptions’ preferred venue to provide its services is the Pettitt Park Community Centre in Bell Post Hill (top picture).
It is located in a nice park that overlooks Corio Bay. There is plenty of parking and nice grassed areas to stroll on. Of an evening, there are terrific views of a well lit Geelong.
Pettitt Park comfortably caters for 120 dinner style guests with a dance floor, or 150 dinner style guests without a dance floor.
Geelong Receptions aims to provide a venue for you that is economical to use in its basic format to minimise your costs, or that can be made lavish if you wish.
Why pay for a “red carpet” reception or function if all you want is a decent venue without the high costs of paying off someone’s business mortgage.
If you do want a “red carpet” function though, we can arrange a suitable venue/décor.
Some other venues we have access to are: Geelong West Town Hall (bottom picture) – for large or small functions. Centenary Hall – for a larger function. South Barwon Civic Centre – for a larger function. Ukrainian Community Hall – Geelong West. Sparrow Park Hall – Geelong West. Lara Hall - Lara.
